The Time Traveler's Wife --- Audrey Niffenegger

I just finished this book today. I was so excited when the movie came out; I'm a big Rachel McAdams fan. I liked the movie and that's how I felt about the book - just liked, not loved. It was an interesting book to read, skipping from Clare to Henry's viewpoints, and yet often confusing. It was sad, and very much emotional. It seemed like a really long book too. I don't know if I'd read it again just for the heck of it, but I'm glad I read it once. (But, I will definitely watch the movie again!)

Catching Fire --- Suzanne Collins

I finished this book a while ago, after I reread the first book, The Hunger Games. Suzanne Collins is such an amazing writer. She really knows how to grab and hold your attention. Just like it's prequel, I loved this book and can't wait for the third one to come out! AND... the movie(s).

The Hunger Games --- Suzanne Collins

This is one of my favorite series of books. I absolutely LOVED The Hunger Games. I read this first time in June 2009, while Pierce and I were in Puerto Rico. Then, when the sequel came out, I read The Hunger Games again before I read Catching Fire. And I would definitely read it again. I heard a rumor that the rights for this book to be made into a movie were bought before this book was even completed!

Collins is adapting the novel for film herself. Pretty cool.

The Host --- Stephanie Meyer

This book is nothing like the Twilight series. I loved The Host so much! It's kind of hard to get into at the beginning, but once you start to catch on; it's great! I absolutely LOVED this book and am excited about the sequels, which should come out soon (according to Wikipedia) - The Soul and The Seeker.

The Lovely Bones --- Alice Sebold

I read this book this summer while in Puerto Rico. It was a good book and then I heard they're making a movie about it. Pierce and I were wondering how they were going to do that, if you read it, you would understand. But overall, I liked this book.

STARS: I give it 3.5 out 5 stars.

The movie comes out December 11, 2009.
